I am a little girl,
Ambitious as can be.
Someday when I grow up,
I really want to be…
Something bright and noble,
Ingenious and great
Leaving marks on the world
Unheard of as of date.
Touching hearts of millions
Inspiring them to vie
To do far better things
And greater things than I.

Zebras live in Africa.
They have stripes, and love to run.
Baby zebras learn to walk
'Fore they can run and have fun.
Zebras are kin to horses.
And akin to donkeys too.
They live together in herds
And they are found in the zoo.
Zebras love to eat the grass.
They make a smooth braying sound
And they're very sensitive
To all predators around.
The zebras face extension,
But may they survive the tide -
Beating the odds against them,
Hanging in there for the ride.

Though I am small,
My heart is big.
I love to dream,
Though I'm a kid.
And yet, someday,
I'll be a man.
But for right now,
I only can
Seek out my place
In this big world,
Until my future
Shall unfurl.
