We must learn to be
Grateful. Seldom does it come
Naturally in a
Selfish world. Even kids, born
Selfish, must be taught to share.

The horn of plenty
Since the Pilgrim days, has been
For us a true emblem of
Thanksgiving. We must also
Be grateful in the lean years.

From hearts deeper than
A well, come buckets full of
Thanks on this Grateful Day.
With gratitude, we show our
Love for God and fellowman.

Fourteen years, and the
Passing of time has yet to
Heal the deep, deep wounds.
Or to erase the ugly
Scars of that terrible day.

With winged words, we so
Adorn the purpose of this
Day. To craft garlands,
Ribbons, and all manner of
Bouquets in honor of you.
