Labor Day 2021

September 6 is Labor Day.
But remember as always
Our nation's built on the backs
Of those who've come before.
'Trail Blazers,' you might call them,
Who've opened many a "door."
And as time passed, like it does,
Others would improve upon
What some had started, making
Labor conditions better
And much safer for us all.
Securing higher pay rates.
Breaking through many a "wall."
