Heavenly Company

My nephew called on yesterday
Just to chat a bit.
He spoke of this, that, the other;
It seemed he'd never quit.

Then he asked, "Is someone there
To be with you today?"
"Of course," I said, and paused
To hear what he would say.

Then he inquired whom might it be,
Or what would be the name.
"God," I replied softly,
"Jesus, and angels," the same.

My nephew was excited,
And said in such a rush,
"GOD--JESUS--ANGELS?
WOW! They never visit us!"
