Miraculous Little Bud
Saw it in my garden, ‘mongst the flowers there© 2011 Walterrean Salley
A tiny rosebud begins to appear
Encased in all green, many days in a row.
How nurtured by the soil, I can never know.
The little bud that nature did create
In due time would begin to dialate.
There it grew like an infanrt in the wound
Stark beauty yet encased in such a fancy tomb.
The time of its issuing forth drew near
As a crack of beauty commenced to appear.
And bobbing over by the buttercup,
The little bud began to open up.
The shelled beauty that had long time looed
Had finally emerged to full bloom.
